I am not Ashamed ( Movie Review )

I have to say, this movie was AMAZING! I loved it! The trailer is good to. It brought me to tears alot. If your wondering how old you have to be to see it, or is it ok for younger ones to see it, I’ll give you my opinion. Honestly I think it’s ok for about 10 and up to see it. As you know this movie is about Rachel Scott’s life before the shooting, and how it affected people after the shooting. Halloween questions/Answers.

  1. Is it ok for Christians to wear ghostly, dead, horrible costumes?

My answer: As a Christian I say you should not. All those costumes do is celebrate death. And whose in charge of death? The Devil. So all you’re doing by wearing terrible costumes, is celebrating death and the devil.

2. Is it ok to go to haunted houses?

My answer: I say no. All the haunted houses today are terribly gross. Plus that’s just walking into satan’s lies. Haunted houses aren’t real. Going into them just ruins your mind.

3. Is it ok to celebrate Halloween?

My answer: Yes but no. Each year my family has a “Fall Harvest” party so we can eat candy and play games. We never celebrate death by dressing our house up by putting skulls everywhere, we decor with leaves and pumpkins. So if your going to celebrate, make it be non scary, non ghory, and most of all, Christ based and fun!

Halloween, questions we all have

Totally agree with this post!

Bible Talk

Halloween is fast approaching! Goodness, hasn’t October just flown by? As soon as you know it Thanksgiving is going to be here, then Christmas, then 2017! My, has the year flown by quick.

I’d want to take the time to answer some questions many people have about the holiday.

How did it come about? I believe it started off when farmers, didn’t want “ghosts” to ruin their crops so they put out “sacrifices” or food to keep them happy. It has Pagan roots, and celebrates the dead. They had bonfires and wore masks to “keep the devil away”

Is it evil? My family celebrates Fall Harvest, not Halloween. Halloween’s origins were created from false religions, devils, spirits, ghosts. And goodness! The costumes people dress up in! It’s like they want to be involved with the devil! And they think hell is some amazing place! And my are they wrong! It…

Pumpkin spice and everything nice

Pumpkin spice and everything scary nice

FALLLLLLLLL!!!!! I love fall. Where I live it’s very hot so today it’s FINALLY, ( I mean in like 2 years finally ) Coldish. It’s 68 degrees. So nice. Back to the post.

It’s almost Halloween it’s fun to dress up and all, but when we think of Halloween let’s think of pretty leaves, and pumpkin spice lattes ( yum ). My Grandma calls Halloween “Fall harvest day” Just because of the backstory of how Halloween was came to be. I’m pretty sure you guys already know the story. But, this year lets not dress up as zombies, and overly gross things. All that does is celebrate death, and death comes from …….. you guessed it, the DEVIL. It’s perfectly fine to dress up ( as happy things ), eat candy, watch Halloween movies, ( I mean by Mickey’s Halloween, and Dora’s trick or treat. ) Yes I do watch that, I have no shame! Bad scary movies, all they do is keep terrible images in your head that don’t need to be there. So keep this Halloween ( Fall harvest day ) based on Jesus! Happy fall!

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him will not perish, but have eternal life.

Get up and dance

Psalm 149:3 Let them praise his name with dancing…..

You got a vision, you got a dream
But it feels a million miles away
You got your passion, you got to believe
That this is why you were made

It takes a little time
Takes a little time
It takes a little time to see
I said it takes a little time
Takes a little time
It takes a little time to believe

We can rise above the typical
And be anything but usual
We know, we know, we know
That there’s no such thing as impossible
And nothing is unreachable
When we trust the God of miracles
We know, we know, we know
That there’s no such thing as impossible

We’re never given the spirit of fear
Only the power of love
We’ll keep on running and not grow weak
His strength is more than enough

It takes a little time
Takes a little time
It takes a little time to see
I said it takes a little time
Takes a little time
It takes a little time to believe

We can rise above the typical
And be anything but usual
We know, we know, we know
That there’s no such thing as impossible
And nothing is unreachable
When we trust the God of miracles
We know, we know, we know
That there’s no such thing as impossible

There is no such, no such thing
There is no such, no such thing
There is no such, no such thing as impossible
Impossible
[x2]

We can rise above the typical
And be anything but usual
We know, we know, we know
That there’s no such thing as impossible
And nothing is unreachable
When we trust the God of miracles
We know, we know, we know
That there’s no such thing as impossible
